Innerspec Technologieshas developed amulti-axis table-scan system as a stand-alone high-speed inspection cell for large parts containing various linear and non-linear features. The table has an inspection footprint of 1800mm x 2000mm with 4 driven axes capable of linear speeds of up to 4m/s. It is fully compatible with the full range of inspection technologies and sensors from Innerspec, including our EMAT ultrasound and the new range of OPTEMATE laser-profilometry-based visual inspection heads. Parts can be automatically or manually loaded onto the table.
In its first application, the multi-axistable-scan it will be fitted with our TEMATE SI-WB to provide volumetric weld inspection on large automotive parts.
