Liner Wear on SAG and Rotating Mills (EMAT)

FARSENSE SAG is designed to be attached to the rotating drum of a Semi-Autogenous Grinding (SAG) mill and measure the wear of the liner in real-time using EMAT sensors and instrumentation and a patented technique. The EMAT sensors are attached to the bolts holding the SAG mill liner and send measurements to a base station at regular intervals or on-demand, to inform the operators of the conditions of the liner without having to stop the mill.
