ALMA: Advanced Light Materials and Processes for the Eco-Design of Electric Vehicles
The main objective of ALMA is the development of a novel electric vehicle structure for a passenger car with reduced weight and environmental impact thanks to the adoption of an integrated circular approach across the entire life cycle supported by LCA and LCC tools as core activities at the forefront of the project.
For this purpose, Innerspec will develop a novel in-service monitoring and inspection system integrated on the vehicle structure to detect and diagnose structural health, thus enabling efficient reuse, repair and remanufacturing at the end-of-life.
The consortium is formed by the following companies: CTAG, Ford-Werke GmbH, ArcelorMittal Maizières Research SA, Batz S. Coop., Rescoll, Fraunhofer Gesellschaft für angewandte Forschung, Innerspec Technologies Europe S.L., Netherlands Organisation for applied scientific research TNO, ISWA – International Solid Waste Association.
